Cost: Cost varies depending on insurance and income $0-$150 per session depending on insurance and private pay/sliding fee discount. If your household makes over $250,000 you will not qualify for a discount. Our discounts are very generous.
Dinner and snack will be provided at the group. There is Grub fee for in-person groups: $50 for the 6 weeks, to cover meals and snacks, which will be provided (We are working on outside funding so we can offer meals for free. This fee may be reduced for low income families as well.)
After you register, your teen and you will complete intake paperwork. Parents and teens will provide information to help us meet you and your family's needs and ensure your teen feels safe and supported. Group size varies, but will not be larger than 8 teens per provider or no more than 12 for two providers. Each group will consist of education on the topic, followed by open discussion and sharing of feelings and experiences. Each week your teen will have access to learning material via the group website. Videos and educational online worksheets will be available between sessions. Part of the process will include weekly journal or experimental exercises, in which, your teen will write about their experience or try skills learned, both in group and outside of group. In an effort to improve outcomes, parents will have access to the learning materials your teen is using for group.
